PERFECTION'S BAY BEAUTY
1997 Open Model Reserve Champion at
the National
Breeder's Cup, Texas Model Derby and the MFTHBA Yearling Futurity (shown
by Mike Rutledge)
"Beauty" was sired by Toddy Perfection (photo
right) out of a Zane Grey daughter named Blue Bell M. View her Pedigree
here. Beauty has produced two
outstanding colts including our current buckskin stallion "The
Poet" - who is Pure Poetry in Motion. On March 20, 2005, Beauty
and her unborn foal underwent emergency colic surgery at the Bend Equine Center,
Bend Oregon. Both she and the foal made it through and are in the lengthy
process of recovery as of 5/6/05. With support of many
friends, veterinarians and God's help, she safely foaled a beautiful buckskin
filly sired by Prince Moon Beam, a real treasure so we named her Beauty's Moon
Treasure. Unfortunately, Beauty can not be bred again.
End of the Trail Ranch was fortunate to lease
Cremello stallion, Cotton-Eyed Joe Y. (photos below)
for several years; he produced many fine colts and fillies including the two mares shown below - Joe's Golden Autumn and Joe's High
Fashion Josie in addition to our buckskin stallion - The Poet E/T. His
excellent natural gaits, quiet disposition and superb conformation has become
an integral part of our breeding program, noticeable in

JOE'S GOLDEN AUTUMN
 This spectacular
mare was sired by Cotton-Eyed Joe, out of a black Toddy's Perfection
daughter. Autumn
delivered her first foal, an tall Ivory Champagne filly sired by Cloud's Jubalation and in 2005 she out did herself with a very special dark red chestnut filly
named Autumn Royale sired by our then senior stallion Mr. Sunduster.
We didn't think she could top her previous get, but we were sure
wrong. In 2006, she delivered an outstanding model/performance
stud colt named The Ivory Fox sired by Danny's Pride of Princess S. (aka
Lobo). Autumn has it all; gait, disposition,
conformation and a real show ring presence and her foals show it. View Autumn's Pedigree

Josie E/T
-
- Josie
is an exquisite sooty palomino sired by
Cotton-Eyed Joe out of our bay mare, Sal's Chief Mystique.
We are excited about Josie's breeding future here at End of the
Trail Foxtrotter Ranch. In 2005 she delivered her first
foal, sired by Mr. Sunduster and she's a beautiful palomino filly
named Sunduster's Josie Belle. In 2006, she foaled a good
sized sooty dark palomino stud colt we've named Poet's Summer
Breeze E/T who was sired by her buckskin
half-brother, The Poet. We liked this cross so well that she
was bred back to Poet and in 2007, they produced
a Smoky Black stud colt named Poet's Rocket Man (aka Rocky). Josie
has an Agouti gene, in addition to red and cream. Photo

Sal's Good Sugar Baby
 |
|
Sire: Mr. Good Man |
 |
"Sugar" is our senior mare and
oldest daughter of Sambo's Saddling Sal, a Hawkeye's Black Sambo
daughter and is the spitting image of her dam. Sugar
was
sired by Mr.
Good Man, a son of Mr. President. She stands 15.2hh and has
produced among others, our former outstanding chestnut stallion, "MR. SUNDUSTER".
Photo left was taken 5/5/05 less than two weeks after a very difficult
delivery at age 17. She was retired in 2005.

Paternal Grandsire: Mr. President

"Misty"
is out other daughter of Sambo's Saddling Sal and she was
sired by Warrior's Grey Chief, a
grandson of Poole's Blue Boy - see below). Misty's dam was the
Ava 1972 two
year old Model Class Champion, third at
the 1972 Futurity and at the Show & Celebration when she was owned
by Dwayne and Sally Scott of Rogersville, Mo. Misty is a well built doe-eyed light
bay sabino mare and a great mom having produced some really outstanding eye-catching
palominos, smoky blacks fillies and
colts AND blessed us with our 2007 buckskin filly named Honey. She
is also the dam of Josie shown above. Most all will usually mature to about 15.2 or
taller at maturity.

A
true bay roan, was sired by Legend's True Grit and her dam is a blue roan mare named Born
To Be Blue.
Her pedigree includes Mr. Koscot, Zane Grey,
Mack K's Yankee, The Legend M., Rodger's Merry Go Boy and Missouri's Chance.
In 2003 delivered a Classic Champagne stud colt, "Champagne
Justice (aka CHiP) who continues her line now in New Mexico. We
lost her 2005 foal due to undetected twining. She was bred back
to The Poet and in 2006 delighted us with a palomino roan stud colt
named Poet's Spring Skipper E/T. But her biggest surprise was in in 2007
when she delivered our first BLUE Roan stud colt. who is off Danny's Pride of Princess (aka Lobo).
We understand this colt is the only Blue Roan grandson of Danney Joe
W. thus far.

Perfection's Black
Cloud D.

"DeeDee"
joined our mares in October 2006 in foal to the grullo dun stallion, "DFE's Future is a Dun".
They produced a magnificent HZ black stud colt named "Smokin Black Cloud E/T"
in 2007.
With her Toddy's Perfection and Hawkeye's Black Sambo
breeding, she's a wonderful addition to our broodmare band and is expected to match well in the future with
several select stallions. View her pedigree
